Juniors – Ages 8–13
Our Juniors programme is designed for ages 8–13 and gives students the opportunity to develop their skills across screen acting and musical theatre. Throughout the year, we split our sessions between both disciplines, allowing students to build confidence, develop their performance skills and gain experience in different areas of the industry.
Screen Term
During one term, students will work on scripts and scenes specifically for screen. They will learn how to approach a script, develop characters, work naturally on camera and understand the differences between stage and screen acting. Students will then have the opportunity to film their scenes and put their skills into practice.
At the end of the term, we will hold a movie night for family and friends, where they can come together to watch the finished films and celebrate the students' work.
Musical Theatre Term
We will focus on musical theatre, working towards a full musical theatre performance. Students will develop their acting, singing and movement skills while rehearsing as an ensemble and working towards a final show for family and friends.
Skills Term
This term will bring both disciplines together, with a focus on developing the students' individual skills across screen acting and musical theatre. Sessions will be more skills-based, allowing students to work on areas such as character development, confidence, performance technique, audition skills, improvisation and working as part of an ensemble.
The aim is to give every student a well-rounded experience, helping them become confident, versatile performers while ensuring that classes remain fun, creative and supportive.
