HEAD OF OUTREACH ALL MINDS
All Minds is a mental health charity that aims to improve mental health and wellbeing by providing counselling from our centres in Kirkintilloch, Falkirk and Kirkcaldy, as well as in several schools across Scotland. All Minds is inclusive and open to anyone who needs the support we offer.
As part of this, we are starting a new partnership with The Actors' Studio, introducing drama as another creative way to support mental health and wellbeing. Helping to provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals to express themselves, build confidence, develop communication skills and connect with others. Through acting, improvisation, movement and group activities, participants can explore creativity while developing their self-esteem and social skills in a supportive environment.
Alongside offering these classes at our HQ in Kirkintilloch, we also aim to take the programme into schools that currently do not offer drama. We provide drama classes, giving children and young people the opportunity to experience the benefits of drama, regardless of whether their school currently has access to a drama programme.
